Jay is an experienced CFO who integrates financial and operational processes, results, and reporting to improve profitability, cash flow, and operating efficiencies. His focus on understanding each client’s specific goals and objectives helps to develop key performance metrics that drive measurable results. Jay works closely with owners, management, and staff to help them understand how their individual actions and decisions impact the profitability and cash flow of the organization. Jay has also worked extensively with boards of directors and owners to help them understand their role in governing the organization, as well as designing policies and procedures to help them carry out those responsibilities effectively.
Jay has worked with entrepreneurs, business owners, and management teams in a broad range of industries including, service, wholesale distribution, franchises, real estate, and construction. In addition, Jay has extensive experience working with nonprofit and religious organizations.
Jay graduated from Texas Christian University in 1994, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics. He is also a certified public accountant, licensed in the state of Texas.
Jay is active in the community, currently serving on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of the James L. West Center for Dementia Care and the Business Advisory Team at Watermark Fort Worth. He previously served on the board of directors and finance committee for both Casa Manana and Lena Pope Home and has also been a guest lecturer at Texas Christian University.
Jay and his wife Tracey have been married for over 25 years and have two adult sons.
